Types of Strategies

There are three categories of strategies in my plan:

1. Infrastructure

2. Marketing

3. Revenue-Producing

Below your vision box at the top of your flowchart, draw lines down to three boxes, and write Infrastructure, Marketing, and Revenue-Producing in the boxes.

Keep in mind that many of these strategies can actually be used for both marketing and revenue-producing, or even infrastructure. I’m putting them where I’ll see the most benefit by using that strategy.

Let’s look at Infrastructure first. Draw three boxes below that category. The most important strategy under Infrastructure is your Support Team, so add that to the first box. Product Development/R&D is also under Infrastructure. Distribution is the foundation for several of the other strategies, so I consider them Infrastructure as well.

Marketing is a key category that bridges Infrastructure with Revenue Producing. Draw four boxes below Marketing and add these strategies: The Internet, Publicity and Promotion, Direct Marketing, Advertising.

Under Revenue-Generation, draw 8 boxes and add Teleclasses, In-Person Events, Printed Material (books/workbooks), Audio Products (Cds/tapes), digital products (e-courses, e-books, webinars, eMessages, eVideo), Live Online (webinars, training), Video (DVDs), Continuity programs.

You have now identified your strategies and organized them by category.

The next thing to do is to develop a list of tasks to accomplish those strategies.

Today many small businesses are marketing themselves on the Internet. As a matter of fact many small businesses today are actually Internet businesses themselves. Here are 3 affordable small business marketing strategies and you can use to get the word out about your business.

1. The first thing we want to talk about is utilizing a pay per click advertising campaign. Google Adwords and Yahoo Marketing are the two most well known companies that offer pay per click advertising campaigns.

These are great because you control how much money you want to bid on a targeted keywords, and you also control how much money you want to spend every month. You know that the traffic that you are getting to your website is targeted because people are searching for specific keywords or keyword phrases.

What makes this affordable for many small businesses is you only get billed when somebody actually clicks on your ad. This makes it very easy for you to determine if this form of our marketing is the effective for you or not.

2. Blogging is another affordable small business marketing strategy that you must be using. As a matter of fact, you can blog and get the word out about your business and your only investment will be in the time it takes to write the blog articles.

Marketing Strategies Will Help You Build Your Business

This item was filled under [ Marketing Strategy ]

Business owners need to use a variety of marketing strategies in order to build a successful business. Many business owners do not use multiple marketing strategies when building a business. This is a key reason most businesses end up failing. Marketing strategies are essential when building a business. Having one marketing strategy is great but in order to make the most out of your business you should employ lots of different marketing strategies. Your marketing strategies do not have to be complicated, in fact the simpler the better.

Having a complex marketing strategy does not necessarily mean it will achieve better results. In most cases the most basic marketing strategies have achieved high levels of success for me. There are many ways to market both offline and online. You should use a combination of both to reach the most consumers. Your marketing strategies should also be tailored towards your targeted consumer base.

Your offline marketing strategies should include flyers, letters, business cards, and drop cards.Flyers are great to pass out at large events, depending on what you are selling. For instance conventions are perfect for flyers. Passing out flyers at ball games, malls, and church events is not really effective unless your product is in line with one of those themes. Finding a convention inline with what you are selling is priceless.

Successful Strategies For Marketing

This item was filled under [ Business Strategy ]

Anyone with a business knows just how important a good marketing strategy is in order to making it a success. Like any business, online or off, marketing in multiple venues is extremely important.

If you only use one marketing strategy, you are essentially only targeting one group of people. Why would you do that, when there are so many marketing mediums at your disposal?

Marketing strategies give businesses the greatest opportunities and chances to increase their sales and achieve a competitive advantage over similar businesses.

If your business is done solely on the Internet, it is still in your best interest to use your strategies for marketing offline as well. If you have a product or service to sell, improving your Web presence is a given, but get your name and product seen in as many online areas as you can. If there are a dozen venues where you can put your marketing strategies into play, use them.

You may have the best and most strategic marketing plan for your type of business. However, a great plan is only as good as the person who’s marketing it. Your strategies for marketing will be most effective if they are used to their fullest potential. Meaning, any strategy should be integrated with your business goals, policies and tactics.

MLM Strategies – Network Marketing Strategies Your Upline Won’t Dare Tell You

This item was filled under [ Marketing Strategy ]

I’m going to bet that as soon as you signed up as a distributor in your network marketing business, you were told to go home and write down a list of 100 people you know…all of your family, friends, acquaintances, etc. You may have even been given a workbook that would assist you in creating this list…don’t forget your dentist, the clerk at your grocery store, the librarian…sound familiar? Your next mission was to sort this list into groups of people that would, of course, purchase your hot new product, and those that would jump at the chance to join you in your opportunity. You dutifully did this, and started dialing the phone, anxious to get your business growing. What did you get for all this effort? I’m thinking that the results were not what you expected.

Your upline promised network marketing would be easy…after all, that’s how they built a huge downline, and are getting paid $10,000 a month on a regular basis, working a mere 20 hours a week. Now, your head is about ready to explode, questions spinning out of control. Questions such as:

How does my upline REALLY do it?

I’ve spent all this money…where are the results I was promised?

Is it me? Am I a failure?

I really love my product, why am I not selling more?

Everyone needs this product…how can I convince them? (Sound familiar?)
